Residents are able to choose the type of accommodation that is most appropriate for their care needs and continue to live within the community of care as their needs change. Emphasis is placed on assisting residents to live life to the fullest in this dynamic residential setting.WAGE: $17.25 hourlyUnder the direction of the Housekeeping & Laundry Coordinator, performs a variety of routine tasks associated with laundering of residents' personal clothing and linen, and housekeeping.QUALIFICATIONSMust have the ability to follow oral and written instruction and be able to communicate and provide feedback on a day-to-day basisFamiliar with standard mending techniques, knowledge/experience in laundry procedures is preferredKnowledge of proper linen and stain removal is an assetExperience in laundry field and/or relevant course preferredExperience in cleaning field and/or relevant courses preferredExperience working with seniors preferred.
