Job Description

Injection Molding Process Manager - Monday to Friday Day shiftWho are we:We are a leader in Injection Molding. Once again, we are hiring a new team member: Injection Molding Process Manager!Who are you:Injection Molding Process Manager:

  • An experienced leader in Plastic injection Molding
  • Part of the leadership team that drives safety performance within the facilities
What you will Do in your role:
  • Manage injection mold set up, processing, and tool repair departments
  • Ensure that all personnel understand and comply with our Health and Safety policies and Legislated Occupational Health and Safety Standards
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve the safety and productivity of direct reports
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for processing, tooling, and automation to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Availability, Performance, Quality)
  • Participate in new program launches to validate target cycle times, review mold design/construction, and complete the first production trial
  • Requisition supplies and liaise with external vendors for repairs/service calls
  • Build economic cases for capital expenditure related to building, equipment, and tooling
  • Participate in monthly quality meetings to determine root cause and corrective actions for scrap and non-conforming product
