Job Description

The Job Cost Administrator – Mechanical Division is location in Kitchener, Ontario and reports directly to the Manager, Finance & Administration.A Little About You:Youre comfortable working with numbers - you could even say that numbers are your thing. Your positive attitude and calm demeanour can help you solve whatever problem the day may throw your way.Your Role and Essential Job Functions:

  • Record and manage the project’s financial transactions such as expenses, invoices, and payments;
  • Assign project job numbers and maintain project files;
  • Prepare and send out invoices for contracts, quoted projects, and time and material jobs;
  • Reconcile project costs;
  • Determine job completion and follow close-out procedures;
  • Review weekly timesheets for field personnel;
  • Provide administrative support to the Mechanical Division Project Managers and Division Manager;
  • Office administration-related duties, including phone coverage, responsible for office supply inventory, ordering company-branded forms, and arranging mail and couriers;
  • Cash receipts, including daily deposits and reconciliation;
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relations;
  • Act as a backup to our Service Job Cost Administrator;
  • Act with the best interest of Roberts Onsite at all times;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting or related discipline

Software:
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Jonas Management System for Construction an asset, but will train
  • Knowledge of Trimble Accubid an asset, but will train
Compensation:
  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with a one hour lunch break)
