Job Description

Basketball InstructorEmployment Period: Thursday September 15 - Thursday December 15 2022Location: WT Townshend SchoolTime: Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30 pmThe Williamsburg Community Association (WCA) is looking for an Instructor for our 13 week kids basketball class. Hired and successful Instructors have the option of continuing in future programming if relevant classes are being offered.The WCA is looking for an Instructor who is organized, motivated, reliable and interested in helping this program be a great success!Responsibilities include:

  • Offering enjoyable and safe basketball classes for participants
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful environment within the school where the programs are held
  • Interacting with the participants to make it a welcoming and inclusive environment for all
  • Report any issues to the WCA
Qualifications:
  • Must possess relevant qualifications and experience
  • Experience teaching soccer to kids
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Police check required upon offer of employment
