The leasing agent conducts in-person showings and assists in the process of leasing out a property. You will preserve favorable relations with property owners and tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office, and portray a positive image of the company in your activities.To be successful in this position you need to balance the needs of property owners with those of tenants and achieve occupancy and rental goals. Top applicants are proficient multi-taskers, organized, and have strong people skills. Please obtain a valid drivers license as well as your own reliable vehicle as you will be traveling to meet with our clients.Compensation:

  • CAD $43,000 + tier commission structure.
  • The company credit card is given to all sales representatives to cover travel expenses.
  • All leasing agents are currently earning over CAD$85,000 with the commission.
Responsibilities:
  • Meeting potential tenants and guiding them on tours of available units.
  • Following up on leads for potential tenants.
  • Preparing leasing documents for potential tenants using property standards and regulations.
  • Assist with market evaluation for properties that are yet to be leased.
  • Meeting and exceeding targets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree with 3 years of prior work experience in a related field or a high school diploma with 4 years of prior work experience in a related field.
  • Obtain a valid drivers license and your own reliable vehicle.
  • In-depth understanding of the real estate industry, including laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Advanced sales skills.
  • People-person, professional and outgoing.
  • Good organization and time management abilities.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Multitasking and time management skills.
  • Collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Multilingual skills to communicate more effectively in diverse areas.
  • Able to work extended hours.
  • Must park Real Estate license (if applicable)
