Job Description

As a subsidiary of IT Group, Inject Tech Plastics was formed to provide molding solutions and assembly services to the medical, automotive & consumer industries. Our 61,000 square foot facility allows us to offer our customer base an expanded range of injection molding equipment, with presses ranging in tonnage from 28 to 2500 ton, along with new automation equipment to handle your extended run or touch sensitive requirements.IT Group has multiple openings in the role of Molding Machine Operator. We’re looking for operators who are excited and positive about expanding their knowledge and skills to grow within the production team. This position offers a way to showcase your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills while running our 28 to 2500 ton plastic injection machines. You will be guided by Safe Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s) and trained by our competent team. Shift Premium for night shift is $1.00/hour!POSITION SUMMARYThe Machine Operator is responsible for manufacturing quality products. By reading and understanding work orders, the machine operator is expected to ensure parts meets customers standards and satisfaction.POSITION RESPONSIBILITES80%

  • Operate molding machines, drill presses, assembly fixtures. Ensures the proper functioning of the plastic injection molding machines.
  • Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards. Troubleshooting of minor problems with the plastic injection molding machines
  • Inspect products of machine products with precision tools for quality assurance.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products. Packaging of products once they have been produced.
  • Tracking and communication to Supervisor of output of the plastic injection molding machines
  • Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area

  • Interpret work orders and follow instructions.
  • Complete relevant documentation. Keep records of defective units or final products.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Shift Lead/Plant Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for a long period of time.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
