As one of 202 Community Foundations across Canada, we collaborate with partners,connect regionally and locally, working with three cities and four townships - to include thepeople and places across our region, using a trust-based philanthropic approach. Together, weseize opportunities to meet current and future needs of our community. We enable people,companies and organizations to do more good by making it easy for Fundholders and Donors togive and invest, and for charities to receive money. Gifts are directed to WRCFs endowedfunds that drive positive change in two ways: through grants and impact investments that deliverboth financial returns as well as positive social and environmental outcomes. We work with ourFundholders to distribute the income generated through grants to support a wide range ofcharitable causes within our community; in 2021 we granted $5.2 Million to 386 charities andnon-profits organizations, bringing our total granting impact to $67 Million since inception. We provide accommodations at all stages of the recruitmentand hiring process under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the OntarioHuman Rights Code.About the RoleThe Office Impact Coordinator is a full-time, continuing role that reports to WRCFs President &CEO, and is accountable for providing support to the President & CEO, WRCFs Board ofDirectors, and managing the day-to-day office operations of WRCF. The successful candidatehas a focus on providing excellent service, and a proven ability to develop and nurturerelationships. They must be committed to listening, learning and working together with others,and participating actively in community-building. They should be extremely detail-oriented, beinterested in managing IT requirements and policies and processes - while at the same time beready to pull together materials for a presentation or report. The Office Impact Coordinator willsucceed if they are extremely organized, willing to be a champion for capturing and actioninginformation, and genuinely interested in supporting people across Waterloo Region.Compensation: $41,000 - $51,000 (based on a 37.5 hour work week), plus a competitivebenefits package. Currently, employees work both on-site and remotely, and this role includesan expectation of some in-office days weekly, subject to adherence to COVID-19 safetyguidelines.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the President & CEO (CEO). This includes responsibilities
such as: managing schedules, monitoring emails, coordinating meetings, preparingmemos and other correspondence, creating presentations and reports, and supportingHuman Resource requirements for the organization.
  • Support WRCFs Board of Directors and Committees of the Board. This includes
responsibilities such as: managing all meeting logistics, preparing meeting agendas,coordinating meeting packages, recording meeting minutes, tracking deliverables, andworking with WRCFs Leadership Team to drive presentations, reports and materials toassist the Board in delivering on their strategic goals. It also includes maintaining Boardand Committee documentation through an online portal, maintaining accurate Boardmember information and records, and supporting Board involvement in WRCF events inCommunity.
  • Lead the administrative function of the organization. This includes responsibilities such as:
general email and phone line coverage, building property/facility management - includingboth onsite and offsite storage, health and safety of the work environment, and provisionof furnishings and equipment necessary for effective and impactful operations. Thisincludes ordering any supplies that are required and managing and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist the Leadership Team with the regular review and development of operational
policies and procedures, and maintain accountability for the management and reportingrequirements to ensure all WRCF policies and processes stay up to date, easilyaccessible, and appropriately distributed for the WRCF team.
  • Manage WRCFs day-to-day technology requirements. This includes responsibilities such
as: maintaining WRCFs relationship with our IT provider, becoming the teams go-toperson for technology-related inquiries, supporting all WRCF team members with any ITneeds, maintaining an inventory of all IT assets, and providing research and support toany new technology solutionsAbout You
  • You bring a combination of education, experience and knowledge to be successful in this
role. This includes evidence of the ability to support a CEO and Board of Directors. Priorexperience with support to a Board or Leadership Team is a definite asset
  • You are committed to understanding and supporting the needs of diverse communities, as

enjoy learning about systems to drive work.
