As one of 202 Community Foundations across Canada, we collaborate with partners,connect regionally and locally, working with three cities and four townships - to include thepeople and places across our region, using a trust-based philanthropic approach. Together, weseize opportunities to meet current and future needs of our community. We enable people,companies and organizations to do more good by making it easy for Fundholders and Donors togive and invest, and for charities to receive money. Gifts are directed to WRCFs endowedfunds that drive positive change in two ways: through grants and impact investments that deliverboth financial returns as well as positive social and environmental outcomes. We work with ourFundholders to distribute the income generated through grants to support a wide range ofcharitable causes within our community; in 2021 we granted $5.2 Million to 386 charities andnon-profits organizations, bringing our total granting impact to $67 Million since inception. The successful candidatehas a focus on providing excellent service, and a proven ability to develop and nurturerelationships. They must be committed to listening, learning and working together with others,and participating actively in community-building. They should be extremely detail-oriented, beinterested in managing IT requirements and policies and processes - while at the same time beready to pull together materials for a presentation or report. The Office Impact Coordinator willsucceed if they are extremely organized, willing to be a champion for capturing and actioninginformation, and genuinely interested in supporting people across Waterloo Region.Compensation: $41,000 - $51,000 (based on a 37.5 hour work week), plus a competitivebenefits package. Currently, employees work both on-site and remotely, and this role includesan expectation of some in-office days weekly, subject to adherence to COVID-19 safetyguidelines.Key Responsibilities
