MTDs regional brands include Troy-Bilt.We are currently looking for a Order Processing Clerk who is responsible for monitoring and completing consumer and dealer requests that arrive via electronic methods and provide support or direction to the appropriate department. Completes basic return authorization requests and communicates with the warehouse. Answers general company calls and directs inquires as needed. Greets customers, guests, dealers or couriers and directs them as necessary and/or advises internal parties of their arrival.The How**This position is onsite critical and will require you to work from the office**

  • Monitor inbound emails and faxes for consumer and dealer parts. Enter and maintain Consumer and Dealer Direct orders into the order entry system. Complete any non-technical requests for service and assign technical cases to others as needed. Reconcile consumer direct credit card authorizations to invoices to support cash application.
  • Investigate, create and distribute return authorizations as approved by Customer Service. Prepare paperwork for return requests within your authorization range. Escalate any requests outside of authorization range to technical team for review.
  • Review parts portal orders on a daily basis depending on the comments. These changes could include shipping requirements, adding parts to the order, etc.
  • Responsible to review discrepancy report provided by Demand department and find parts that are no longer available (NLA). Update orders by removing the parts that are NLA and update Dealers as required.
  • Participate in managing the credit and returns queue by completing short shipments and other administrative issues that appear. Complete these cases in a timely manner and follow up with applicable parties where necessary.
  • Answer external and internal telephone calls, and take messages as required. Assist with the electronic sign in procedures for visitors according to our Safety Policy. Direct inquiries as required, including dealer pickups. Support inter-office communications with paging and staff whereabouts.
  • Sort, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail and faxes. Prepare daily bank deposit spreadsheets for Credit.
  • Receive incoming courier packages and prepare outgoing courier documents for domestic and international delivery. Provide tracking information as requested.
  • Monitor toner inventory for all copiers and printers and call for copier maintenance as required. Order office and warehouse supplies as requested.
  • Provide warehouse support for day end courier manifesting as required, and monitor humidex levels for supervisors. As well as maintain standard work for your daily activities to ensure last minute absences do not impact downstream processes.
What we need
  • One-year certificate from college in Office Administration or equivalent
  • or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Familiarity with common PC programs such as MS Office and Outlook.
  • Prior exposure to multi-line PBX - using Avaya
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
