Job Description

About usLucios Bakery specializes in European handmade breads, pastries and savories made daily from scratch.The Bakery Clerk is the first point of contact with the bakery customers. Clerks will answer the business phone, serve customers, stock shelves and coolers with bakery products, perform cleaning duties and other duties as requested by the baker.Duties:Provide services as required and directed by the Employer, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Welcome customers and respond to their questions regarding bakery products; answer the phone and take orders
  • Package our goods for customers
  • Arrange freshly baked goods neatly on shelves and in display cases
  • Operates point of sales system
  • Make regular coffee and specialty coffee drinks
  • Maintain a clean store and workspace
  • Fold boxes and insert paper in preparation
  • Assistance with maintaining and ordering supplies
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of bakery products
  • Good customer service skills
  • Food preparation experience
  • Cleaning experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 10-20 per weekSalary: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:
