We need someone who is highly motivated with exceptional organizational skills to handle inventory control at our new warehouse. We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver who shares our passion for enriching the lives of the clients we work with.Who you areYou have previous experience as a Shipper/Receiver or have at least worked in a warehouse environment in the past. You are a self-starter who thrives in work environments that provide both autonomy and guidance. You enjoy hands-on work and are a quick learner when it comes to new processes and technology.What you will doEvery mobility device we process is custom to our clients, as a result, we rely on our shipper/receivers to play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Working out of our Kitchener location, you will manage inventory, warehouse organization, as well as shipping/receiving.On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Ship and receive inventory. Working with our shipping software, Navision, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment. This will include:
  • Creating shipping order and labels
  • Packing custom orders
  • Pulling inventory from shelves
  • Cross-docking orders from other locations
  • Ensuring courier pick up
  • Receiving goods from suppliers/vendors
  • Making certain the delivery was correct and undamaged.
• Process mobility devices and equipment. You will act as the gatekeeper for our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, cleaning, and packing as it enters or exits the dock. You will tag, price, store, and organize all mobility devices, parts and tools within the warehouse.
• Communicate. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.

What you bring

• Education and Experience. You have a high school diploma and minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role.
• Communication Skills. You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper. You can provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
• Flexibility. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously. You are a true team player but can still work on your own with little supervision. You are a fast learner who picks up new technologies and processes quickly.
• Additional Must Have Requirements. You can lift up to fifty (50) pounds in order to move or repair equipment and devices. You have a clean criminal background check and are bondable.
