Job Description

Superb Group Inc. is growing! We are a team-oriented professional snow removal/landscaping company located in Guelph serving Commercial, Industrial and Condominium Properties in Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge.We offer a positive, fun, safe working environment and are looking for experienced Snow Plow Operators to join our team. This is a full-time on-call 24/7 (including weekends and holidays) position with the potential for career growth for a hard-working individual with a great attitude.What you would be doing…

  • Safe and efficient operation of a snow plow and ALL other snow equipment.
  • You may be required to get out of the truck from time to time to complete other duties.
  • May be required to use other snow clearing equipment as directed.
  • Maintain and clean equipment on a regular basis.
  • Minor maintenance repairs on equipment (such as greasing), as needed.
  • Available 24/7 and respond to calls within 30 minutes (includes days/evenings/weekends and holidays).
  • Manage a routine schedule AND on-call requests.
  • Keep accurate records/logs including, but not limited to fuel logs, vehicle inspections/safety reports and hours of service.
  • Submit paperwork and documentation (electronically and/or manually) promptly at the end of each shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the team…
  • You MUST be legally able to drive in Ontario. (Valid G drivers’ license)
  • You have 2+ years experience doing this type of work.
  • You have a high level of customer service because people are counting on you!
  • You are familiar with performance requirements; understand route maps and sand/salt application rates.
  • You answer when called and are ready to work - even if it’s 3am.
  • You get the job done, on time, the right way, the first time.
  • You get along with people and communicate well.
  • You like working outside in cold temperatures.
  • You are a problem solver.
  • You have great time management skills.
  • You can use smartphones/tablets as instructed.
Compensation negotiable based on experienced.This position is outdoors with hours that vary depending on the weather.Successful candidate must possess and wear warm, weather- proof clothing.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
  • 10 hour shift
