Job Description

MôR Elevated Dining & Lounge is looking for an experienced & dynamic Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator!MôR is an elevated yet casual take on fine dining, with an upbeat evening lounge atmosphere located in Kitchener.MôR Elevated Dining & Lounge is looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivated Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator!As a Social media coordinator & content creator, your main goal is to create, produce, edit and launch social media campaigns. You will create engaging content on various social medial platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn.This position requires evening & weekend availability.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in overseeing the brand awareness from social media presence on all platforms, maintaining posting and updating social media profiles, creating concise, eye catching and creative social media posts that engage the audience on various social media platforms.
  • Creatively and proactive engage online to drive favorable relationships and conversations with our audience and online influencers promoting customer relations side of the company.
  • Help ensure video and social media contents meets quality and brand standards and is entertaining, educational and captivating content for social media campaigns.
  • Develop and manage social media calendar and content strategy for our brands, and execute against it on all social media platforms.
  • Generate reports for management and utilize data for creating new strategies
  • Stay on top of all social media tools and keeping our brands current and relevant.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of brand perception and manager of channels (websites, social etc)
  • Research audience preferences and staying up to date on social media trends.
  • Maintaining content databases and formatting/uploading content for social media.
Requirements:
  • Should have a relevant diploma or certificate in communications, marketing, graphic design or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, functionality and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite (photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro) and Canva is a plus
  • Working knowledge of video creating/editing experience for platforms like Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram stories, etc is a strong asset.
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Experience in social media marketing is a plus but not preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong call handling skills
  • Must have strong photography skills, with own professional camera
