Company DescriptionBridgingTheGap Ventures was founded with the goal of bringing together young changemakers with the world’s top industry leaders, decision-makers and influencers to usher in a new era for humanity that is more connected, collaborative and empowered than the status quo.We are looking for an experienced, creative and energetic Social Media Specialist and Growth Hacker to join our team of passionate content creators and marketers at BridgingTheGap Ventures.You must be currently living in Canada.Job DescriptionThe Social Media Specialist and Growth Hacker’s role is to design, create, and deliver social media marketing to support the engagement and growth of our online community.You have a mix of creativity and wordsmith skills—able to capture attention with the eye and minds of our social media followers to drive interaction and increase brand awareness. Proficiency in graphics, content development and social media (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) is a must.Responsibilities

  • Design digital media and social media content campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Draft, schedule, and manage daily social media content
  • Maintain a strong brand voice online, including responding to user comments and messages and other community management activities
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends. Regularly track and get insights into competitors strategies, digital design, and social media marketing trends
  • Establish our social media presence and work to improve our overall brand recognition through other digital properties (e.g. websites, community apps, etc.)
  • Define user personas and create compelling social media content to attract, engage and retain our target audience
  • Follow art direction and brand guidelines and apply design standards in digital content including social media posts and marketing collateral
  • Research user experience and digital marketing concepts to improve consumer engagement on social media
  • Merge traditional and new creative ideas to grow KPIs, A/B testing those ideas and monitoring performance metrics
  • Analyze marketing data and user feedback (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Driving traffic to websites, landing pages, social media, apps
  • Understand and utilize conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles to increase social media following and community conversions
  • Optimize channels for continuous performance improvement and virial growth
  • Work closely with marketing and media teams to share ideas, feedback, develop and execute on growth opportunities
QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media and/or communications
  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
  • Familiarity with Elementor for WordPress, Google Suite, YouTube, and LinkedIn is beneficial
  • Knowledge of picture editing software such as Adobe and Canva
  • Copywriting and communication skills
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns is beneficial
  • Be able to leverage data, metric, analytics and consumer behaviour trends to generate creative ideas
  • Understanding of people and user behaviour. Also having great customer relations skills and the ability to form meaningful connections with users.
