Job Description

Healthy Planet is looking for a full-time stock associate to assist with the overall operations of the store by receiving/distributing products in addition to maintaining the cleanliness of departments throughout the store. Responsibilities

  • Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct
  • Design and set up displays of merchandise on shelves, counters and/or tables
  • Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise
  • Stock shelves with new or transferred merchandise
  • Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items that are damaged and need to be reordered/replenished
  • Maintain cleanliness of displays, cases, shelves and aisles
  • Answer customers’ questions about merchandise and advise customers on the selection available pertaining to their needs
  • Move stock from trucks to produce area and ensure the area is clean/organized
  • Prepare product to be stocked on the shelves or in the coolers
  • Use the handheld POS system to retrieve items
Requirements
  • 1-3 years experience in produce retail environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a face paced environment
  • Must be open to working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
