Job Description

We visit approximately 80,000 patients each year in homes, schools, clinics, workplaces and retirement homes, spread across 14 branches and 21 nursing clinics.We continuously innovate to meet patient needs with specialized (award-winning) care programs and technology, including virtual care and Artificial Intelligence (AI).Overview:Would you like to be a part of our IT transformation We are modernizing our IT systems and are looking for a Systems Administrator with an experience with SaaS and cloud-based IT systems. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and other enterprise systems is essential for this role. This position requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, along with a Can Do attitude.This position will be based in our corporate/head office which is located in Kitchener/Waterloo. The position is hybrid with some in-office days required.What We Offer:

What The Role Involves:
  • Supporting system implementation and being responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of on-prem and Azure cloud-based systems, and tools such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Defender for end-points and Autopilot
  • Working closely with other departments to support cross functional implementation strategies, automation and implementations
  • Lead and support the IT solution deployments spanning public and private cloud environments
  • Maintain accurate and updated IT asset inventories, asset configuration.
  • Assist with vulnerability scanning and remediation, including patching and configuration updates
  • Identify and assist in remediating IT Risks and audit gaps
  • Adopt, customize and implement best practices around DevOps, including automating deployments and system recovery remediation actions, where possible
  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues, and perform enhanced trouble shooting with internal stakeholders and external partners, as required
  • prioritize and triage system events and requests based on severity and urgency
  • Provide excellent customer service and delivering hands-on end-user support to a variety of learners
  • Escalate issues, when required, internally and/or with external vendors
  • Follow the organizational and provincial regulatory requirements and ensures quality and data integrity standards are met
  • Be able to understand information privacy and security guidelines
  • Perform other related duties and or special projects as required
What You Bring:
  • A university degree or college diploma in Information Technology (IT), systems or 3-5 years of working business experience in technology-based training delivery, customer service, fast paced, team environment
  • Proven experience maintaining SaaS and Microsoft Azure & O365 environments
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience documenting resolutions
  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Experience with e-learning standards, tools, and blended learning approaches
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management, MFA, and Single Sign On and other security requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze problems, identify and implement solutions
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits
  • Experience with client-server applications, web servers, SQL Server DB’s and scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Experience with SharePoint and Intranet and excellent MS Office Suite skills
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
  • Knowledge of community home health industry programs/services is an asset.
  • The ability to travel within Ontario and work non-traditional and on-call hours
