Building on a winning track record of 300% revenue growth over the past 5 years, we need the right talent to take the next big steps.Your MissionOur mission, as the People & Culture team, is to support team members and hiring managers in their efforts to build a materials science company for sustainable building materials. Your mission as Talent Acquisition Specialist is to lead the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. As a fast-growing company, finding and attracting the right talent is critical to the organic growth of Trusscore. You are motivated and have a strong interest in growing your career within the Talent function in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

  • Execute recruitment strategies, keeping an eye out for ways the process can improve to provide an even better experience.
  • Track and maintain recruitment metrics.
  • Develop strong relationships by responding to and redirecting inquiries from team members and managers alike.
  • Coordinate University/College recruitment initiatives.
  • Screen applicants and coordinate their progression throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Creatively sourcing high calibre candidates in a cost-effective way (e.g social networking, cold calling, employee referrals and contingency search).
  • Liaison with stakeholders and hiring managers for the planning and successful execution of the hiring plan.
  • Create employment agreements, offer letters, and other documents.
  • Assist with onboarding to provide a team member experience and engage and support new team members at every step of the process.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of team-building events across all locations.
  • Responsible for administrative duties such as accurate record keeping, maintaining our team member recognition program and more.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in human resources or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Talent or Human Resource role
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle different priorities and manage a busy workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Experience working with an HRIS, BambooHR would be an asset.
  • Computer literate: proficient with MS Office applications, G Suite applications and other software.
  • You have a strong sense of urgency and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously to manage projects effectively.
  • High level of integrity, keeping confidentiality in mind.
