Job Description

As an Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks and providing assistance to our team members. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.JOB: Office AssistantPAY: $20.50/hrTYPE: Full time (NOT SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS)LOCATION: KitchenerDUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new employees
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Provide support to team members as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
