Job Description

YOU MUST BE PRESENT IN ONTARIO TO APPLYReference:- JobCart.caJob Responsibilities:

  • Construct, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise assembly of tools and dies
  • Operate machines such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and CNC equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure tooling meets specifications and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of dies to ensure optimal production
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to identify and solve manufacturing problems
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues or necessary improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Toolamp; Die Maker
  • Strong understanding of tool and die manufacturing techniques and machining processes
  • Proficiency in operating machine tools, CNC machinery, and other related equipment
  • Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments
