You will be responsible for gathering demand information from our market areas to ensure the availability of our spare and wear parts in a dynamic supply chain environment. Your role plays a crucial part in enhancing the accuracy of our forecast of demand, which will positively impact the business. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Inventory Planning and Optimization.This position is mainly working in the EST time zone, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.Team you belong toYou will join a team of inventory planning experts dedicated to enhancing the availability of our spare and wear products to customers.We work closely with internal stakeholders and engage different cross-functional teams to acquire and share information. Our team culture is all about getting things done - together. The members of our team are located around the world, for example in Finland and Australia.What you #39;ll do

  • Collect and consolidate market area demand/forecast data
  • Perform statistical analysis on demand and inventory data to identify inventory risks or deviations from plans
  • Facilitate regular demand planning meetings on schedule with the key contributors
  • Hand over information and datasets from demand plan process to inventory/supply plan processes
  • Translate identified requirements to inventory proposals and plans globally
  • Provide recommendations for inventory parameter changes based on captured information
  • Monitor the accuracy of the actual forecast vs historical and providing insights for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of respective business metrics/KPI #39;s
  • Provide feedback to enhance the demand planning templates/reports and system
  • Communicate and work together seamlessly and proactively with the stakeholders
  • Participate in Global Inventory Planning system monitoring on-call duty service if needed
Who you are
  • You have a related higher education degree with a specialization in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, S amp;OP, Procurement, or similar
  • You have gained a few years of relevant work experience in any of the above areas
  • You have excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • You are able to handle larger quantities of information/data
  • You have strong Excel skills and are comfortable with IT systems in general
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, and can communicate effortlessly across different levels of the organization.
  • Good skills to write executive summaries of meetings and creating business presentations
  • Previous experience in dedicated planning systems and forecasting tools is a plus
  • Previous experience in demand planning processes in sales and operations planning (S amp;OP) is a plus
  • Technical skills are a plus, as we are a looking that you would have genuine interest in learning about our mining and construction products that you would be managing in your role
