We are also one of the largest buyers of fruit globally each year and continue to enjoy strong growth in this emerging category in retail.The OpportunityThe IT Technician is responsible for technical service support to internal clients including receiving and resolving technical service issues with internal clients, providing troubleshooting support and identifying solutions.The Role

  • Provide first-line support to users via phone, email, MS Teams, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers and scanners
  • Set up and configure new user accounts and workstations.
  • Install, modify, and make repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
  • Support end-user applications, such as Microsoft Office 365, and email.
  • Provide support for remote users, including VPN and remote desktop setup and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose/resolve technical issues with software and hardware
  • Provide timely and regular updates to users on the status of their technical issues.

What You Will BringEducation:
  • Undergrad degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, etc. is an asset
Knowledge or specialties:
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have knowledge of PC components and design, networking concepts including PC setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • ​​Microsoft MCSE or MCP is a significant asset.​
  • Solid PC Hardware skills - competent in all aspects of PC / laptop / peripheral installation, repair, parts replacement, and configuration
  • Work performed in an office and manufacturing environment
Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required
