The Ladysmith Family Practice Clinic is an Island Health owned and operated site. It is staffed by GPs (3 FTE); NPs (3 FTE); RN (1 FTE); and four Clinical Office Assistants. The clinic uses a Population Based Funding Model (i.e. not based on FFS). We are looking for a GP will become a part of our team.1. Patient Care: Follow the panel of the GP that is being replaced which includes lab/diagnostic/consult follow-ups as needed. Provide care as needed either virtually or in person as guided by the Ministry guidelines.2. Long Term Care Responsibilities: Provide coverage for long term care residents including after hours care as needed.3. Clinic Team Work: Be physically present in the clinic to be a part of the team of GPs, NPs, RN and COAs on a regular basis.BenefitsMay be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:Recruitment Incentive - $10,000; Fee Premium - 4.2%; Annual Flat Fee - $4,834.80; Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum in year 3 & 4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years.Community InformationLadysmith is a small community in Cowichan North. The site where the Ladysmith Family Practice Clinic is located, the Ladysmith Community Health Centre, offers many services in addition to the primary care clinic, including: Community Health Services, Lab, XRay, Ultrasound, Medical Day Care Clinic, Red Cross Loan Cupboard, as well as an Urgent Care.Quick Apply
