We are currently looking to fill the position of Continuous Improvement Engineer .Accountabilities: The successful candidate will join the Procurement, Real Estate & Corporate Security team, whose objective is to deliver maximum value to our internal customers by delivering safe, effective and efficient procurement, supply chain, inventory management, real estate and security services. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will develop, prioritize and manage data-driven process improvement projects with a consistent focus on the customer experience.This role will manage initiatives from initiation to completion using continuous improvement, project management and change management methodologies. This role will also be responsible for the sustainment and support of continuous improvement program within the department.Some of the specific tasks include:

  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and manage improvement requests from the business
  • Prioritize and lead process improvement initiatives across business units, including process design and redesign
  • Facilitate process improvement workshops and other proactive engagement with internal business stakeholders
  • Gather data, perform analytics & solicit field input
  • Develop business cases to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide status reports and present status updates to key stakeholder groups
  • Utilize project management methodology to implement continuous improvement program
  • Coach and support project team members on use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • Support and lead organizational change required for implementation of continuous improvement program
  • Identify, develop, and report key performance metrics
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.Skills, Capabilities and Experience: You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar education and work experience. You are a self-starter and leader with proven organizational and analytical skills who is able to function effectively in a team environment. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong facilitation and presentation skills, strong computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to provide emergency power restoration support.A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.
