• Collaborates effectively with the agile team to configure package software when applicable.
• Supports the team in executing highly technical tasks according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration.
• Ensures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promotes only quality-tested code and does it on a frequent basis.
• Participates in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments.
• Completes required documentation to communicate required information to deployment, maintenance, service and business teams.
• Provides production support and helps drive down technical debt.
• Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
• Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
• Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

• 3+ years of experience in configuration, coding and application development, preferably in an agile environment.
• College diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology, Information Science, Data Science, or Management Information Systems (MiS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other agile development techniques.
• Sound knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices.
