Further to this, the Contract Compliance Analyst ensures that all finance processes and controls are in compliance with the FAMM and any other regulatory body, where required.Role Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform Master Distribution Agreements (MDA) audits as required.
  • Ensure customer contracts are accurately and completely reflected in our system.
  • Communicate and follow-up on audit exceptions to Management.
  • Review Segregation of Duty control tests quarterly.
  • Coordinate external requests for customer audits.
  • Perform/coordinate annual audit self-assessments and special audits of risk areas as necessary. ; support process owners with these tests
  • Follow-up on Management Action Plans to determine if audit findings have been cleared and recommendations have been implemented
  • Research areas identified in risk assessments to better understand, communicate and evaluate any significant internal control, accounting, or business issues
  • Lead and/or assist in SOX testing
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Assist and work directly with Ops review teams in any Corporate audit engagement
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounting, Finance or related experience
  • Minimum 1 year of contract audit, internal audit or related experience
  • Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting or related field is preferred
  • Finance designation is an asset
  • Intermediate skills with MS Excel and proficiency in Word and Outlook
  • Experience with AS400 an asset
  • Exposure to summarizing data and drafting business reports
  • Curious, questioning mindset
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% or as needed to complete audit plan and special projects
