This role is accountable for social media platform and program management, content creation and creative planning. This role will manage and maintain brand standards and creative agency partnerships.Role Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute and support the development of internal and external marketing videos and related content collateral (mainly editing and post-production work).
  • Designing and developing new performance tools
  • Focused on digital, traditional, and field sales content creation and graphic design
  • Responsible for content creation and graphic design to effectively market Sysco’s products, services, and customer experiences.
  • Develop, deploy, and provide ongoing support to Influencer, Advocate and Ambassador Social Media programs.
  • Provide social media training and support to Field Marketing Managers and Sysco Associates.
  • Support Sysco Corporate Marketing initiatives, promotions, and events as required.
  • Support in monitoring Social media activities across Sysco Canada.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns including web, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build and optimize the user experience on Sysco.ca and eCommerce platforms.
  • Design Marketing and Sales collateral supporting national and local projects.
  • Develop Customer Facing Marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team and other stakeholders to execute assigned projects as they relate to graphic design and production within brand standard guidelines
  • Project production from beginning to end utilizing the common marketing platform, incorporating campaign elements (copywriting, photography, design, layout, etc.) to successfully communicate message to target audience and serve as a contributor or editor of internal or external communication.
  • Assist with creating and managing digital e-mail campaigns.
  • Support Sysco Corporate Marketing initiatives, promotions, and events as required.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing and graphic design.
  • Experience with video editing and copywriting.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing and Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytic tools.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe, and Desktop Publishing.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Social Studio is an asset.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities with email distribution systems (i.e. Marketing Cloud)
  • Ability to succeed with minimal supervision in a deadline driven environment.
  • Must be able to handle high-volume, short-deadline projects.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required as minimal travel is required.
