We are currently looking to fill the position of Environmental Scientist/Contaminated Sites Professional.Accountabilities: As part of the Environmental Services team the Environmental Scientist/Contaminated Sites Professional is responsible for providing science and contaminated sites expertise to selected aspects of the business and multiple workgroups. Environmental Services supports all environmental aspects of electricity generation and delivery across Nova Scotia Power Inc. You will liaise with internal departments and external regulatory departments/agencies in providing this support across NSPI.You will provide expertise related to regulatory (environmental) approvals and contaminated sites monitoring, remediation and management programs, including support for environmental management systems (EMS) and other environmental programs across NSPI.
