This will be done through the expert delivery, design, development, and facilitation of technology, sales and product specific learning programs.Role Responsibilities:

  • Use a variety of technology and authoring tools, e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Thrive LMX, etc.
  • Conduct analysis to identify the best knowledge transfer method, resolve learning objectives and estimate level of effort to design/develop learning solutions
  • Develop & facilitate technology training for our ecommerce platform; Sysco Shop and
  • our CRM; Salesforce
  • Build, implement and execute product training, development, and growth initiative programs to accelerate sales associate performance
  • Partner with other team members, as needed, to publish or deliver the final learning solutions.
  • Adhere to the design and development process including timelines and landmarks, results and target dates.
  • Provide mentorship and specialized knowledge to other members of the team.
  • Creation, development, and management of content on LMX Platform THRIVE.
  • Conduct high impact assessments that will identify ROI for content delivered.
  • Oversee and maintain training material and curriculum resources.
  • Act as a project lead and/or program manager in the coordination, logistics, scheduling, distribution, communication, and set up of sales related learning solutions and experiences.
  • Oversee and maintain training material, curriculum resources, and market a sales training and development calendar.
  • Recommend and advocate for new and innovative approaches in a variety of delivery channels; partner with Sysco enterprise to leverage resources; manage 3rd party partnerships.
  • Stay current on innovative methods of training delivery, product, sales and industry knowledge.
  • Monitor Sales objectives and results.
  • Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
  • Three (3+) years of experience in content development.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a business-related field, equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Instructional design skills and experience: ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, as well as different modes (instructor-led training, eLearning, video and blended solutions).
  • Experience in designing learning experiences for onboarding and/or leadership development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen ability to tailor messages to audiences with exceptional grasp of English grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage.
  • High competency with PC, MacOS, MS Office (specially PowerPoint), and Adobe Creative Apps.
  • Experienced with Adobe Captivate, Camtasia or Articulate360.
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple projects simultaneously and juggle multiple (and potentially conflicting) priorities.
  • Understanding of visual/graphic design.
  • Sound decision making and problem solving/resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational influence and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong team orientation and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in driving consensus across teams.
  • Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate all shifts.
  • Ability to translate technical information to non-technical users. Preferred Experience and Skills.
  • Videography and editing.
  • The incumbent must be energetic, responsive, decisive and must possess a good knowledge of the foodservice industry.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills (verbal, written, presentations).
  • Strong relationship management skills to establish trust and credibility with associates, business leaders, and subject matter experts, and able to get results with and through others without formal authority.
  • Strong evaluation capabilities to interpret business and learner needs and recommend effective solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may be required for some ad-hoc travel.
