They will accurately qualify Sysco’s new business prospects via phone, email and webchat and will complete discovery steps as outlined by leadership. Utilizing an advanced technology stack, each MRR will be responsible for maintaining daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s to drive consistent service levels for our field-based Sales Associates and ensuring incoming customer leads are processed and forwarded to the local operating companies within defined response times is critical. This role will report to the Manager, Sysco Market Response and will be considered a highly visible position within the company. The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing organization and a demonstrated history of customer first priorities are all required traits.Role Responsibilities:

  • Quickly engage each inbound lead via phone or email within specified SLA’s
  • Qualify leads, resulting in high-quality business opportunities for all Sysco Operating Companies
  • Understand and overcome customer objections in an ever-changing competitive landscape
  • Provide best-in-class customer service as necessary and appropriate
  • Properly document all activity via company CRM and other tools as defined
  • Attend all department and team meetings, syncs and 1-1’s
  • Conduct regular follow up calls with all leads as required
  • Collaborate with management to provide feedback on areas of improvement
  • Retain and adhere to all company processes and procedures
  • Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role.
  • Assist Food Safety Program Manager in ensuring compliance to Sysco’s Food Safety Program that leads to compliance with third party certification and customer requirements.
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year-experience in a Customer Service, Call Center or Account Management role, preferably from the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Bilingual in French & English both written and verbal fluency required
  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of power dialer technology (preferred, NOT required)
  • Working knowledge of CRM database (Salesforce preferred, NOT required)
