We are currently looking to fill the position of Procurement Coordinator .Accountabilities: The successful candidate will join the Procurement, Real Estate & Corporate Security team, whose objective is to deliver maximum value to our internal customers by delivering safe, effective and efficient procurement, supply chain, inventory management, real estate and security services. Reporting to the Manager, Continuous Improvement and Analytics, the Procurement Coordinator will be accountable to support existing processes within NS Power.This role will support our corporate credit card process, monitor our importing activities and our procure to pay process within the organization.You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.Skills, Capabilities and Experience: You possess a degree or diploma in Business Administration or similar education and work experience. You are a self-starter with proven organizational and analytical skills who can function effectively in a team environment. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to provide emergency power restoration support.

  • Strong skills and experience in Procure to Pay processes
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to coach others within the organization on defined purchasing processes
  • Experience with procurement and/or inventory management are definite assets.
  • Proficiency in Excel is a definite asset.
