Please send your resume by e-mail if you are interested.• Position: Retail Butcher• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent• Compensation: $15.00 per hour • Working hours: 30~40 hours per week • Benefit: 5.77% of vacation pay Job Duties• Cut and weigh meat and fish for sale at self-serve counters or on special order from customers• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form.• Slice and grind meat using a grinder and a slicing machine• Prepare meats, fish, and shellfish for processing, cutting, etc.• Package and price meat products for sale• Make special sausages and slice cooked meats• Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, fish, and shellfish products, as well as standard cuts of meat and poultry.• Make standard cuts of meat from carcasses, sides, and quarters, and remove bones from them• Maintain adequate meat storage in the supermarket• Keep an eye on the food storage conditions on a regular basis.• Assess the cost, product line, and freshness of meat products according to company and customer requirements• Willing to work on weekend or holiday shiftsContact Information• Work Location: 214 1st Avenue W, Leader, SK S0N 1H0• E-mail: leaderfamilyfoods@outlook.com We welcome applicants from underrepresented groups including newcomers and/or first nations.
