Grizzlytrek Group is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced Shop Foreman within the agricultural field for one of our valued clients. This role is a cornerstone of our client #39;s operations, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of agricultural machinery and equipment, which are vital to their success. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a profound understanding of the agricultural industry, a passion for machinery, and a commitment to excellence in leadership and operational management.Position Overview:The Shop Foreman will oversee the daily operations of our client #39;s machinery workshop, including the maintenance, repair, and servicing of agricultural equipment. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled technicians, fostering an environment of teamwork, high performance, and continuous improvement. This role is suited for a leader who excels in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and supervise the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate at optimal performance.
  • Oversee inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures within the workshop, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, facilitating ongoing training and development.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Manage customer relations by ensuring high standards of service and addressing any issues with professionalism and urgency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the agricultural or related industries.
  • Strong mechanical background with in-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to safety standards and experience in implementing safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to workshop operations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
