Job Description

Department:Covid Assessment CenterStatus:Temporary Part TimeBargaining Unit:CUPESalary Scale:Per Collective AgreementPosting Date:2021-09-02Closing Date:2021-09-09BackgroundApplications are now being accepted for 2 Temporary Part Time Registration Clerks to assist in the Covid Assessment Centre. The successful applicants will be required to work 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700 and 9:30-17:30, including weekends. This position will end on or before March 31st, 2022. The candidate has a commitment to 37.5 hours in a bi-weekly pay period.Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in a recognized Medical Administration program or equivalent
  • Medical terminology
  • Keyboarding skills
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office as a minimum
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Typing speed 40 wpm
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records software preferred
  • Knowledge of Scheduling Software preferred
  • Customer Service Training preferred
Experience
  • Six (6) months related experience preferred
Other
  • General good health, good attendance record and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position is a requirement
