Title:Accounting ClerkReports To:Financial ControllerSummary:The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for processing all accounts payable. This includes data entry, payment runs, reconciling with vendor statements, liaising with vendors, and liaising with the purchasing and receiving departments. Further, this position has some involvement in accounts receivable and collections.Job Duties:- Data Entry of all vendor invoices.- Matching and troubleshooting the processing of vendor invoices against internal purchase orders.- Set up and execution of all electronic payment runs.- Preparation of manual cheques.- Processing company credit card activity and payments.- Liaising with vendors on any necessary matters.- Filing.- Monitoring and adhering to all internal control procedures related to purchases and payments.- Other related Finance Department duties as assigned.Requirements:- College Certificate in Accounting- Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)- Detail oriented and organized- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization- Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines- Self-starter with ability to work independentlyJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
