Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Essential FunctionsDeliver and pick up meal trays, interacting with patients/customersPrepare dessertsWashing pots and dishes and cartsMaintains general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure meal orders are processed accuratelyMaintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each patient/customer by observing client confidentiality and by strictly adhering to safety and sanitation standardsProvides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude towards clients, customers, co-workers, hospital staff, etc.Other duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualifications:Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferredExperience in food service, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferredDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalRequires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detailWorking knowledge of web based software; ability to adapt to changes in software programsCooking experience an assetThe finalist candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (if the operations we service require this). If hired for this position, your continued employment with us would be conditional upon Aramark being satisfied that you have successfully cleared both these pre-conditions.
