Full Job DescriptionSouthpoint Ford is hiring an experienced Lead Auto Detailer to help maintain a fast-growing automotive dealership.Our team is looking for a hard worker who can thrive in a fast-paced working environment, someone who not only enjoys Auto Detailing but takes great pride in their work and has effective leadership skills. The ideal candidate is meticulous and detail-oriented with time management and organizational skills.This position will require the candidate to be a true team player and effective leader. Every member of the Southpoint team needs to remember the ABC’s, Always Be Cleaning, when there is downtime from detailing, the position is responsible ensuring their team is cleaning the interior and exterior of the dealership, anything that can increase our image and the success of the overall team.The hourly rate for this position starts out at $20 per hour plus opportunities for performance compensation. We want to add the most talented and hard-working professionals to our team.Responsibilities:
  • Leading a small team of detailers and hitting weekly production goals
  • Detailing vehicles
  • Polishing/waxing skills
  • Prepping vehicles for delivery
  • Tinting skills a plus
  • Keeping a clean and organized shop (tools, parts)- This is a must, running an organized garage is an essential duty.
  • Helping to keep the interior and exterior of the dealership and lot clean.
Requirements:
  • Must be reliable
  • Must present a clean and professional appearance
  • Must have experience driving a manual transmission
  • Must have a clean driver’s license (verified by DMV motor vehicle record)
  • Must have 5 years driving experience
  • Must have experience detailing cars
  • Must have strong time management skills
  • Must live within close proximity of the dealership
