At LIHS we live and lead through our Core Values, it is a requirement to be familiar with these as we hire, review, develop and reward our people around them.Position OverviewWorking in collaboration with the Director of Community Programs (DCP), as the Community Programs-Team Lead you will be responsible to provide oversight and coordination of client services and day-to-day program and facility operations for the LIHS Community Programs Department. The Community Programs-Team Lead will provide direct support and guidance to staff working with youth, as well as to adults and seniors impacted by interpersonal violence, ensuring best practice, and impactful client care services. Your professionalism, leadership, organizational abilities, and strong communication skills will ensure your success in this dynamic and rewarding role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromote an inspiring team environment with a positive, and professional culture.Maintain strong communication linkage with the DCP, Community Program Teams, other LIHS service areas to share relevant information regarding client services, programming and facility operations as required.Guide client services, programming, and day-today facility operations for the LIHS Community Programs, providing leadership, support, and consultation to meet client and programming needs, ensuring quality client services are achieved.Through service coordination and team collaboration, ensure the range of impactful program objectives and goals are achieved.Support the development and implementation of effective program and operational processes and procedures and internal CP communication and documentation tools.Mentor and support Community Program staff to build professional knowledge and skills to ensure best practices and ethical decision making. Facilitate specific staff training as required.Ensure day to day facility routines, maintenance and OH&S procedures are being completed.Promote and ensure the Interval Home Society’s high standards of service, including confidentiality, and professional standards, safety and cleanliness are maintained.Experience and CompetenciesPost-secondary education and 2 years experience in a Human Services field. Prior experience in a leadership role would be a strong asset in this role. Experience and proven ability to support vulnerable populations, youth, women experiencing domestic violence is essential. An extensive knowledge of interpersonal violence, trauma-sensitive practices, knowledge of strategies and supports for wellbeing and empowerment is a must. You must have a valid drivers license, clean drivers abstract, and a minimum of three years driving and insurance history.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
