Job Description

  • Prepare daily room assignments and key distribution to room attendants.
  • Inspect and check the work of assigned staff to ensure cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness of assigned areas and submit daily inspection and progress reports.
  • Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards.
  • Responsible for the training and orientation of new staff.
  • Oversee housekeeping staff productivity and cleaning percentages.
  • Work with front office and maintenance departments regarding the status of rooms, ensuring that guest requirements are met according to Hotel policy.
  • Designated staff areas, and public areas; maintain standards by Hotel Standard.
  • Input guestroom information into computer system.
  • Assist with cleaning rooms as needed.
  • Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints regarding housekeeping services
  • Hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects; be on your feet for extended periods of time, able to crouch, bend.
  • Must have minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post- secondary education in a Hotel management discipline is an asset.
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required.
  • Supervisor experience is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $40,839.00-$45,305.00 per yearBenefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Lloydminster, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
