Northern Livestock sales currently has a position available as a pen rider at the Lloydminster location. As a pen rider the responsibilities will include:· Utilize a horse to ride through assigned pens daily· Assist in shipment of cattle· Ride horses safely by awareness of surroundings· Move cattle from one area of the yard to anotherNorthern Livestock Sales will supply hay and accommodations for the horses. Living accommodations can be arranged for the candidate.Candidate will be required to supply 3-5 horses and grainCandidate will be given a monthly farrier allowanceSummer/Spring includes 1-2 shifts a week, Fall/Winter includes 4-6 shifts a weekCandidates will be required to work outside with cattle in a fast-paced auction market environment. 8 hour or longer shifts will be required when necessary.
