Onion Lake Cree Nation is aPlains Cree First Nation in Treaty Six Territory bordering the Alberta and Saskatchewan Provincial Border, approximately 50 km North of Lloydminster. The Nation has approximately 585 square km of land area and a membership of approximately 6500. Onion Lake Family Services is an incorporated body that serves the children and families in the community. Part of our service is also to provide Enhanced Prevention whereby we offer innovative programs and services that enrich the well- being, health and prosperity of children and families. We strive to provide program delivery to support a thriving and self-reliant future for the members of Onion Lake Cree Nation.Job Summary The Youth Support Worker(s) will create and build healthy relationships with our children in care, children at risk of being in care and high risk youth in the community. The worker will create a positive network of support for these children and youth.
