Job Description

Position:

  • Prep Teacher
Required teaching qualifications:
  • A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
  • A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary, Junior and Intermediate Qualifications
Position Criteria:
  • Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
  • Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
  • Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
  • Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
  • Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work ·
  • Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
