Our goal is to deliver exceptional high-quality member service.In this position, youll be an important part of a team of knowledgeable salespeople who share a genuine commitment to working with our membership. This position provides our members, both new and existing, with financial advice and solutions. Youll be giving insight to our members in areas such as accounts, consumer investments (term deposits, registered products, mutual funds), lending products and services to help them meet their financial needs.If building relationships, problem solving, and meeting challenges interests you…..this dynamic career is what you’re looking for!A typical day may look like:

• Connecting with current and potential members to uncover their financial needs.
• Interacting with internal teams to assist and collaborate on lending and deposit activities.
• Discussing / issuing loans, mortgages, investments, mutual funds, credit cards and account package services.
• Promoting Synergy Credit Union within our communities in a variety of ways, including support for business development activities, volunteerism, phone calls, emails, and participation in campaigns.

• Have a proven dedication to providing quality member service, strong communication skills and value teamwork as essential, with the ability to work independently.

• Related post-secondary education (e.g. Diploma or Degree in Business) and 1 year of job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Relationship and/or business development skills are required. Previous sales experience working with goals, strong closing/referral techniques, and pipeline development is desired.
• Mutual Fund Accreditation or successful completion of accreditation within 3 months of hire.

Location: Maidstone, SKHours: Full-time - 37.5 hours weekly. Flexibility to work outside various hours is required.Salary range: $50 800 - $70 900 annually. We have two levels in this role. Placement within these levels is dependent on experience and education.Note: While inter-branch travel is currently discouraged for public health reasons, in the future you may assist other branch locations.
