Job Description

Customer Service Agent – Insurance BillingExciting hybrid opportunity in the insurance industry. Provide frontline support for inbound billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and deliver exceptional service in a dynamic contact center setting. Work on rotating shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, with initial on-site training followed by hybrid flexibility.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $19.15.• 6-month contract.• Full-time position in a dynamic and professional environment.• Scheduled shifts are 8 hours per day (7.5 hours paid).• Contact Center operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.• Shifts will vary within these hours, including evenings and Saturdays.• Hybrid role based at the Markham Office.• Initial training is conducted on-site and lasts approximately two weeks.• After training, the role transitions to a hybrid model with a mix of on-site and remote work.• Be part of a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities:• Respond to inbound billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with insurance partners and underwriters.• Support internal stakeholders across contact centers and branches.• Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email channels.• Accurately interpret customer needs and resolve concerns efficiently.• Gather relevant information to ensure seamless issue resolution.• Take ownership of customer interactions and follow through on all inquiries.What you will need to succeed:• 1–2 years of experience in a contact center environment, preferably within the insurance or banking industry.• Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve customer concerns.• Professional telephone and email etiquette.• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows applications, and web-based programs.• Dependable attendance and punctuality.• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
