Job Summary: This Enterprise Architect role requires a minimum of eight years of experience in complex enterprise IT environments, with at least five years specifically in an Enterprise Architect position. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, ensuring solution integrity and consistency throughout the lifecycle. Key responsibilities include translating business needs into high-level design specifications, designing cost-effective and innovative solutions, and developing enterprise principles, standards, and guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to present to senior executive management are essential. Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaResponsibilities: - Document business drivers, client processes, and their contribution to business goals. - Analyze client and stakeholder needs to propose technical and non-technical solutions. - Translate business requirements into high-level design specifications. - Design and document cost-effective, innovative, and operationally supportable solutions. - Document the structure and relationships of business processes, organizational groups, data, applications, interfaces, and infrastructure. - Design solutions considering business, technical, and financial constraints, including IT operational limitations and opportunities. - Document effort, risk, costs, and complexity of potential solutions. - Research and write discussion documents on emerging technologies, vendors, and product functionality. - Review solution architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture roadmaps and standards. - Ensure solutions meet objectives for availability, reliability, performance, scalability, maintainability, manageability, and security. - Identify trends and create strategy and roadmap documents for IT initiatives (IoT, Information Management, Data Analytics, cloud platforms). - Develop enterprise principles, standards, and guidelines. - Develop governance for enterprise solution approvals. - Conduct solution architecture reviews. - Develop templates for solution architecture and design documents. - Develop or update domain-specific architectures (business, application, mobile, data/information). - Other architect duties as assigned. Required Skillsamp; Certifications: - Minimum eight (8) years of experience in technical IT roles within complex enterprise environments. - Minimum three (3) years of experience developing solution architectures across n-tiered platforms. - Expert knowledge of Information Architecture principles, data management, data integration, and data quality platforms/tools. - Expert knowledge and experience in Dynamics CRM and Platforms. - Expert knowledge in at least one enterprise ETL tool. - Minimum three (3) years of experience architecting solutions involving complex integration scenarios (multi-platform, competing technologies, SaaS and PaaS). - Knowledge of process re-engineering principles, requirements gathering, and middleware management. - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for various audiences. - Ability to adapt to change in dynamically evolving situations. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Minimum five (5) years of experience working in an Enterprise Architect role. - Experience communicating and presenting to senior executive management. - Minimum five (5) years of experience developing and implementing standards, principles, guidelines, strategies, and roadmaps for the enterprise. - Excellent customer service skills. - Clean criminal record check (maintained throughout contract).
