Job Description

The Company: We are a professional financial advisory business offering counsel and service to clientele throughout Grey, Bruce and Simcoe Counties. Our aim is to provide holistic financial counsel to reduce money-related stress and to help our clients achieve their short and long term financial goals. Services provided include tax reporting, cash management, bookkeeping, estate planning, investments and insurance. For further information, please visit our website at www.gardhousefinancial.ca. Our growth in recent years requires us to expand by adding an administrative assistant to the existing team in a full time capacity. A good working knowledge of investments and personal insurance would be a valuable asset. As part of our team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Updating client files
  • Preparing client documents such as purchase orders, address changes, beneficiary changes etc.
  • Developing customers into full service financial planning clients
  • Experience with tax reporting would be a valuable asset
Expected Qualifications:
  • Well-developed communication skills and the desire to work closely with clients
  • Computer literate and general competency with office equipment
  • Exceptional organization and ability to multitask
  • An aptitude for high ethical conduct and learning
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to input information clearly and consistently
  • Course completion of LLQP and/or mutual fund license would be an asset
Compensation and Future Opportunities: Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience and formal education.
