Hold valid journeyman or apprentice status as a Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Mechanic or Sheet Metal Worker.Work Experience: Min 1 year of experience as HVAC/Refrigeration service technicianJob Duties: Pad-Car Mechanical is offering an exciting career opportunity to join our team as a HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician.We are a Medicine Hat based HVAC and plumbing contracting company and service provider.See our website for why we love calling Medicine hat Home @ https://www.padcar.com/Measure and lay out reference points for installationAssemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power toolsMeasure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipmentInstall, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systemsStart up system and test for leaks using testing devicesRecharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicingRepair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systemsMay install, maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical suppliesDiagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues efficiently and accurately.Repair and maintain HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners and ventilation systems. Both in commercial and residential environments.Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Install new HVAC equipment.
