Job Description

Description:

  • Reporting to the Recreation and Programming Manager, the Parksamp; Recreation Facilities Labourer III position performs ordinary labour duties of a routine nature under immediate supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Arena Operator Level I Certification (asset).
  • WHMIS Certification.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
  • Minimum Grade 12 or its equivalent.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Driver license.
  • Must be able to use a weed eater for extended periods.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to prepare individual time sheets.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
  • The ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work shift work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must maintain effective working conditions and relationships with fellow employees and the ability to interact with the general public in a tactful and courteous manner.
  • Pre employment screeningand driver #39;s abstract.
