Bell 2 Lodge/Last Frontier Heliskiing Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Housekeeper.Housekeepers provide cleaning service to all Lodge accommodations and common areas daily. Our Lodge is not typical of a hotel, as it is fully self-sustaining and includes chalets with individual rooms in a remote location. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning the guest chalets, main lodge, dining room, and sauna building while doing laundry and inventory of supplies. Excellent attention to detail and following procedures is paramount in this role. Maintenance and cleanliness play an important part in the services we provide to our guests and must be maintained at the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player, with a positive attitude and proven flexible approach.Reporting to the Lodge Manager, preferred skills and core competencies are:

• Energetic and upbeat, with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers
• Friendly personality with a genuine desire to help and please others
• Take pride in doing the job well and with a keen eye for detail
• Able to perform the same tasks repeatedly with satisfaction
• A positive attitude and flexible approach
• Be physically fit to fulfill this position, including reaching and bending to clean, as well as climbing stairs
• Able to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Passion for working with people and the outdoors is an asset

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months housekeeping experience
• Previous experience based in a remote lodge / camp environment is an asset

There is a possibility to extend the work contract into our winter Heliskiing season.Accommodation and meals are provided for all employees. Shifts are three weeks on and one week off working ten hour days. Transfers to and from Terrace or Smithers on weeks out are available. Given our remote location all communications are via-satellite phone and 2hr of basic internet is provided.
