Full Job DescriptionFlamboro Technical Services (FTS), is a custom stainless steel fabrication shop that caters to the food manufacturing and packing sectors. We are looking to add a afternoon shop CNC machinist to our ever growing team.As a CNC machinist you will be Reporting to the Machine Shop afternoon lead hand.The hours for the position are 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to FridayKEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION· Working on various types of equipment· Meet outline deadlines· setup and prove out first off parts with minimal supervisor· Working with minimal supervision· first off inspection· Choose the proper tools and equipment for the task using existing set up sheets· Work in team environment· Operation of CNC mill and lathes· Use of various hand tools· Lifting up to 50lbRequired Education, Skills and Qualifications· High school diploma required· Red Seal Certification of Qualifications an asset· Minimum 2 years’ machining experience in relevant manufacturing environment· Durable machining background in non-production environment· Excellent problem solving abilities· Competent in manual and CNC turning and milling· Ability to follow written instructions and set up sheets· Positive attitude with strong work ethics, open minded is a must· blueprint reading and GD & T an assetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $22.00-$32.00 per hourBenefits:
