Our dedicated team is committed to preserving the dignity and respect of all with a genuine sense of compassion and well-being.Responsibilities Knollcrest Lodge is seeking to hire a Full -Time Volunteer Coordinator to help support Knollcrest’s Community Outreach Service. We seek candidates who have a desire and passion for serving our people and community, and who have knowledge and understanding in providing Community and Social Services.This position is integral in meeting the needs of our Community Outreach Program.Responsibilities include: working cooperatively with other partner agencies; coordinate activities, community development and education that meets the need of Milverton and Perth East, and that fulfill the mission, vision and values statements of Knollcrest Lodge and Community Outreach Services; schedules volunteers, responds to requests and maintains an up to date volunteer roster; develops recruitment and marketing initiatives; resolves client/ volunteer inquiries in a timely manner; ensures safety measures for all volunteers and programs.We seek candidates who are looking for a meaningful, rewarding, and supportive work environment.QualificationsIdeal candidates should have education in volunteer management/ coordination, recreation and leisure or a related field of study; experience working with communities and seniors; strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and data management skills; experience working with program development and networking; intermediate level of MS Office Suite and other operating systems; must have a G drivers license.Applicants must be permanently eligible to work in Canada upon hire.
