Job Description

Job PurposeTo provide administrative support on moderately complex assignments requiring good judgment, typically supporting a manager and/or an assigned team.We’d love to meet you if...… you’re energized by big challenges and creating a plan to meet the challenge… you enjoy working with others to deliver great work… you’re innovative and looking for a values-driven, positive culture and environmentIn this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain customer/vendor relationships and resolve complaints
  • Co-ordinate shipping and delivery of materials
  • Work with vendors on orders, shipping, invoicing and technical service.
  • Develop and use moderately complex spreadsheets to maintain records
  • Prepare and maintain department records and purchase orders
  • Assist the department head and team with administrative requests
  • Perform other duties as necessary, all in accordance with safety rules and regulations

  • General Accounting knowledge and math skills
  • Strong clerical, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Capable to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to operate a computer and supporting software
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar environment, preferably in a similar role
  • Can show proficiency in Microsoft
